COMMON QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our services and how we can help you.

Are your consultations really free?

Answer: Yes, absolutely! All our consultations are currently free of charge.

What information do I need for a utility comparison?

Bring your recent utility bills (electricity, gas, internet, or mobile) and we'll analyze your usage patterns and current costs. We'll then compare available plans to try and find you the best deals.

Do you charge fees for switching utilities?

No, we don't charge any fees for our utility comparison services. We sometimes get paid small commissions by providers when you switch - but this never affects our recommendations - we will always suggest what's best for you.

What kind of advocacy support do you provide?

We provide support with various challenges including helping and advising you to deal with service providers, understanding your rights, navigating government and other services, and connecting you with appropriate community help & resources.

Is my information kept confidential?

Absolutely. All your personal information and the details of our conversations are kept strictly confidential. We follow privacy best practices and will never share your information without your explicit consent.

What areas do you serve?

Whilst our base is in Melbourne, we are happy to help anyone Australia wide.

How quickly can you help me switch utilities?

Once we've identified the best plan for you, the switching process typically takes 1-2 weeks. We handle all the paperwork and coordinate with providers to ensure a smooth transition without any service interruptions.

What if I'm not happy with a plan you recommended?

Your satisfaction is our priority. If you're not happy with a plan we recommended, contact us immediately. We'll work with you to find a better solution and can often help you switch again if needed.

Do you help with payment difficulties or financial hardship?

Yes, we can help you understand hardship programs offered by utility providers and connect you with financial counselling services and community support organisations that specialise in financial assistance.
